講演①：Current advances in cable dynamics and the use of AI for the simulation of flexibles

Fraunhofer ITWM conducts research and pre-development for IPS. Current developments in the field of cable dynamics and AI for the simulation of flexibles are presented.
Part I - The Cable Dynamics module will be developed further. Two examples for current developments are presented: flexible modelling of fixations and contact mechanics for cable dynamics.
Part II - For complex nonlinear models of flexibles (e.g. a detailed flexible surface or a larger wiring harness), simulations might not be real-time capable anymore. To overcome this issue, we present how to utilize AI surrogate models, which enable fast simulations without reducing accuracy.

講演⑤：Innovative Wheelhouse Technologies for High-Voltage and Low-Voltage Routing in Modern Vehicle Architectures

The electrification of vehicles requires innovative wiring solutions within the wheelhouse area. Using the IPS simulation tool, wiring harnesses can be analyzed in real time considering detailed material properties, enabling optimized HV routing concepts and reducing development iterations. Improved harness integration supports vehicle torsional optimization and packaging efficiency.
Additionally, new LV wheelhouse wiring concepts utilize plug-in fixation systems and overmolded plastic holders directly applied to the harness, reducing part count, weight, assembly effort, and manufacturing costs while increasing robustness and installation quality.
